The Bear Lake Open

We were sitting on the beach on Friday, with not much going on. The boys decided they were going to get out some golf clubs and play a little beach golf. They dug a hole, drew a line for the green, and stuck in a little stick for a flag. Brena and I took it upon ourselves to "build" them a golf course, complete with a trophy for the winner at the end. It was only 5 holes, but they had fun playing for about 3 hours. Sorry the pictures are a bit crappy and you can't really see how fun the holes are. Hole 1, also referred to as the crater. It was a big hole in the ground with another smaller hole for the cup.

Actually the first hole the boys made, just a big circle drawn on pretty smooth ground. Brena and I added a few rocks.

A big flat mound of sand, with a moat full of water around it. This hole was pretty close to the water, and a few balls even ended up in the lake.

Bear Lake

We had a great time at bear lake, we spent a lot of time at the lake, and swimming in the pool at the resort. I don't think any of us got dressed most days, just went from our pajamas to our swim wear, and then back to our pajamas. Here are some photos of Chase and I wake boarding. Chase is usually the one behind the camera, so he took all the pictures of me.The beautiful Lake. I'm sad to be home now. I'm already excited for next years trip.

My new bff

Tubby

We are staying here in Arizona with our cousins Josh and Elaine. Apparently their dog Tubby loves blondes, I'm no exception. Last night when we walked in the door he went crazy, and then spent the rest of the evening laying in my lap letting me scratch his head and give him loves. As soon as he woke up this morning, he jumped up and gave me some loves and wanted me to give him some back. He's now laying next to me on the couch (even though he's not supposed to be on the couch, Elaine was making an exception for him). I guess the one draw back of this sweet puppers is that he smells gross all the time. Elaine says that they get him groomed, or give him a bath and the smell never really fully goes away.

No laughing at my outfit anyone. Yes i know I have on pink striped pajama bottoms, and a teal polka dot and black shirt. Even if what you have on doesn't match, just put on some high heels and it makes it all better. Sorry high heels not pictures with this lovely outfit :)

Arizona

Hello from warm Mesa, Arizona. We made the 12 hour trek down today for Danny (Chases cousin) and Emma's sealing tomorrow afternoon. After the sealing we will make another 2 hour trek to Tucson for the reception on Saturday.

We'll head home on Sunday sometime, and will be sad to come home to the snow. It's sure been nice to not have to have a coat on at all times.

I forgot to take some pictures when we got here and it was sunny outside. So you get pictures of us laying in bed watching tv. Chase can't seem to be normal in any of them so here you go funny face Chase.
