100%

I just needed to take a minute to congratulate my husband on his math test, he got 100%. Chase has always struggled with school and learning, so when something like this happens he deserves all the praise that can be given. I'm sure he'll be embarrassed that I shared this on the blog, but that's what he gets, a very proud wife. I do have to say he didn't even show me this paper when he came home, just put it on the fridge for everyone in the family to see, I didn't find it till he'd been home for a few hours.

Note to self

Never play rope with Gus when he hasn't had his nails clipped in a while, and he's close to your face. This could happen to you. As you can see the lovely scratches across my eye and forehead. i now have scabs on my eyelid. Thanks Gus!

Hannah Montana

For about a year now Chase has said how much he likes Hannah Montana. I know he is a grown man. It's not her in person or her music, but he really likes her show on the Disney channel. Which I will admit is a good show, it's funny most the time, and can make you smile. About six months ago a signed Hannah Montana poster showed up at our house, come to find out our brother in law Jered had cut the poster out of an ad and signed it himself. Chase had the poster up on the wall in our TV room till Christmas when I needed the space to hang the stockings. I think it will go back up when we move back home. For Valentines Day I decided that Gus would get Chase a card, just to show how much he loved him. Here's the card with Gus' signature. Chase loved, or so I think.
These sticker cards were inside the valentine, they are actually quite funny. I could see some little girls going crazy over them though. I'm sure our niece Teagan will enjoy them when Chase gets bored of them.

Valentines Day

It was a great Valentines day here. Chase myself and his cousin Parker spent most of the day at Brighton snowboarding. Ok really I spent most the time on my butt. I did learn a lot and was able to not fall so much by the end of the day. The picture above is of me with the tree I ran into (you can see where the snow is gone off the tree where I hit) and then got stuck under, Chase had to pull me out. That would have been a great video. I did rest in the lodge for a bit, while Chase and Parker got in a few runs without having to stop every few feet to wait for me.
Chase got the movie Nic and Norahs infinite playlist, with some treats. I got a gift certificate for a massage, we'll see how that goes when it happens.
Thanks for a great Valentines day and being so patient with me on the slopes babe. Love you Lubber!!

We're back in Utah now. :( It's so cold here. Just makes me think "Buuurrrrr it's cold in here.... there must be some Toros in the atmosphere."

More to come later, with pictures.
